A few days ago we learned of the first pre-deal Fulham made for the summer when it was reported they had agreed with keeper Alex Manninger on a free transfer. Well, they have made another deal, and there’s still snow on the ground here in upstate New York!

Fulham have reportedly agreed to a transfer to bring Paul Konchesky back to Craven Cottage. The price? A whopping £1.5 million. Which is sweet because Fulham sold him to Liverpool for £3 million. Win.
Konchesky is needed because it is believed Salcido wants out of England and back home to Mexico.

Miroslav Klose wants out of The Bundesliga and into the Premier League. Would he take to the Cottage? (courtesy nepaleselink.com)
Also in Fulham transfer rumors (there have been a lot of late) Bayern Munich striker Miroslav Klose wants into the Premier League and has been linked with your very own Cottagers as well as Bolton and West Ham (provided, of course they arent relegated, or that may prove a tad counter-productive for Klose. Just sayin).
Signing the 33 year-old wouldn’t help the team’s age issues, but it would be an exception I would be more than happy to make.
The final bit of news from today so far, one happy one not. Steve Sidwell is extremely happy with Fulham, as are Fulham with him, so the two sides agreed to a 3-year contract when his deal ends in the summer. Also, Aaron Hughes suffered a shoulder injury against Serbia and will have an MRI today. Let’s hope that one’s not serious.
